GOOD GOD!!
Thrashley - November 23, 2005 08:35 AM
I know, I know - what happened with the tour updates? Christ - its already November and I haven't even gotten to the first show on tour yet....!!! I'm working on it!

PART II - WARPED TOUR IN AN OVEN...
Thrashley - August 4, 2005 08:55 PM
You know, its funny how every time I think I may get five minutes to breathe something comes up and the ride continues, so its taken me longer than I had intended to continue the tour journal...where was I...oh yes, puking in the parking lot at the Stray Cat…

Next up was Warped Tour the following Wednesday – we were asked by AZPunk.com to play the AZPunk stage at the show and needless to say we were completely stoked to do it. Best stage at the show as far as we’re concerned. But with all the time we had already requested off from work for tour, it proved to be a near miracle that I pulled off getting out of the corporate dungeon…

Ms Butcher and Drea were set and got there early, the boys from All Too Much saved my ass by taking my equipment down to Peoria Sports Complex for me, buying me a few more hours to make my escape. I left the office and ended up changing in my car in the CircleK parking lot just around the corner from the show. I thought I had chosen a decent place to park my car to make the transition from corporate slave to punk drummer, like some distorted interpretation of superman’s phone booth… But somewhere between the shift from long sleeve (have to keep the tattoos covered up!) button up shirt to tank top and skirt to Dickies, I look up to see the water delivery dude enjoying the fact I decided to change clothes in my car. Not much I could do at that point but wave - haha

It goes without saying that it was hotter than hell that day – we were sweating worse than hookers in church. Now, the jailbreak I made from work pretty much required I didn’t return to work the next day with any trace of the brutal Phoenix sun anywhere on my skin – no small task, I assure you. Sunscreen and the added long sleeve shirt I was wearing over my tank top kept me from getting any noticeable amount of sun, but god damn it was hot…We saw a lot of new faces during the set and it was awesome to have the opportunity to play. The set went well, the parts I remember between nearly passing out – definitely a great start to the tour that was to start two days later.
